Here is my review of FF:EN (by Gerogero) - Visuals:(10/10) I really thought that each place was designed very well. Nothing was repetitive or boring to look at. Special battle animations were used very well to tell the story as were cool lighting effects. What really stood out though was how much detail went into the characters attacks. Each of the main characters has a battle animation to show each of there skills. This added a cool effect and also made it fun to watch. (Especially the summon spells) - Plot: (15/15) When ever I play games I always try to guess what happens next, and I'm usually right. Not so with this game. There was many unexpected twist and turns, that leads me to believe that Delita Hyral X really put a lot of time in the story. Each character was woven perfectly into the plot. And the worlds background was well explained. - Gameplay: (15/15) The gameplay was great. The stat raising system was a fun change from that boring level up system in most games. The wisdom system was really well organized. Most items were imbued with cool skills like auto-life, regen, double money etc adding to the strategy. I can really say that I looked forward to the battles, if not to raise stats then to see what items or wisdom orbs they have. - Music: (5/5) FF:EN has a large selection of tunes that fit well. Some of the music tracks I never heard before which was also a plus. The battle theme was good but the final boss themes were fantastic. The opening theme is another gem. - Mini Games: (5/5) FF:EN was filled with mini-games. Some areas even had more than one to partake in. A few of them included arcade games, a casino, an auction house, and a battle arena. - Overall: (50/50) This game was a really awesome fan-game. It has a killer story, great strategy and a high replay value. Good job Delita Hyral X! -
